▼ WHO IS AMEN ZOO?
AMEN ZOO is founded in 2018 by MEATCHOPPER 118, GREG DIE [both part of Hit ‘n Run soundsystem] and MEOWMEOW. We are located in the Netherlands but also do parties abroad.
But it’s not just us: these parties would have never existed if we did not have all the help from lovely friends, random supporters and the crowd that makes the effort to travel to our events!!

We are a non-profit organisation run with the help of our beloved volunteers. At our parties the DICE decide the entry price!!!! But if you’re not into games, or just very shy, you can donate 4 EUR (1 DIE) or —when it’s one of our bigger events— 7 EUR (2 DICE).
Over the years we got to meet many artists through partying and organizing, of which some are open to help us on our mission to bring you BREAKCORE & MORE!! And we are open to a new generation of producers, feel invited to send us some tunes and/or mixes!
Of course we spend money to organize all of this, and it’s worth mentioning that you could really help us by giving a donation! In exchange we will continue to deliver unique experiences with rare line-ups, approachable for everyone.

We’ve seen this in Japan and it just makes sense to us. A 30時間制 (30-hour system) that extends the night rather than transitioning into a new day.
▼ CAN I HELP / VOLUNTEER?
We run our organisation through the help of many friends and strangers. From door entry, VJ/lights control, sound engineers, bar support, security, first aid, photographers, bookers, the artists themselves and everyone else; we all volunteer.
It aligns with an openminded and provocative approach that fits with breakcore and DIY art. Also, we are disgusted by the idea of financial gain over music talent. That’s not what music should be about. We understand the importance of being financially stable but we have found our way to provide a more approachable alternative [at least for now].
